06.10.2006 - International premier for the new starter model Mot

Press release 3
06.10.2006

International premier for the new starter model MotoStay basic at the Intermot in Cologne.

MotoStay basic, the new motorcycle stand for beginners, had a successful premier at the German Bike Week in Faak. The first international presentation takes place within the scope of the Intermot in Cologne, open from 11.10 to 15.10.2006.

At the large event at Faaker See, recently ended, the new MotoStay basic was presented to customers from Germany and neighbouring countries.

The MotoStay steel had already encountered a very good response from many customers wanting a stable, reliable and high quality stand for their motorcycle, without having to go for a high-tech model such as the MotoStay aluminium. In order to respond to the requirements of this buyer group, René Girod developed a further version of the MotoStay that could be further simplified. The MotoStay’s extremely effective functionality has been retained fully.

Thus, this functionality of the MotoStay basic corresponds to that of the MotoStay steel. Here, as well, the lower clamping elements are continuously variable. The clamps for the MotoStay basic are made from 4mm quality steel with higher sides as the adapter elements for the other MotoStays, whose construction is more complicated. The MotoStay basic can be offered favourably, among other things, by replacing this costly adapter technique.

The MotoStay basic takes tyres from ca. 80 to 170 mm wide.
